On May 29, James Blunt will be back on ‘Today.’ His first national network appearance was on the show. So what are some of his other firsts? James Blunt’s first U.S. network television performance was on “Today” last November, so we thought we would ask him a few other firsts he’s had … What was the first record you bought? The first concert you attended? When you turn on your iPod, what is the first song you have to listen to? How old were you when a girl broke your heart for the first time? When was the first moment you realized you had become a rock star? What was the first song you wrote for this album, “Back to Bedlam”? You have been on the road non-stop since the release of “Back to Bedlam.” What is the first thing you do when you get home? You will wake up pretty early for your “Today” show concert on May 29, what is the first thing you do every morning? Tune in to “Today” Monday, May 29 to watch James Blunt perform live on the Plaza as part of the “Toyota Concert Series on Today.” |

I do hope James was kidding when he was ask what is the first thing you do every morning? and he answered “Ask the girl her name”
I really like this young man very much and I do hope he does not do things he will regret later on in his life.
I love his music so much it makes me cry as a matter of fact I adore the song “Cry”.
My husband passed away last year and I am all alone most of the time, so I listen to James Blunt and look for stories about him on the internet. I guess you could say I am obsessed with him.
I just want the very best for him and I hate to read bad things about him.

Brenda I just came upon this after purchasing his new disc all the lost souls. He’s(James) quite an inspiration with his words, and views on his saying of “I don’t want to turn 60 and say well I was going to be a musician”. I myself don’t want to turn 60 and say well I was going to be a Nurse. He’s an inspration to get up off my bum and follow what I’ve wanted my whole life. I too am sorry for your loss, I just felt compelled to respond; I sufferd the loss of my father at the tender age of 10 he was my biggest inspiration and biggest fan. I am sure he(James) is kidding as well. I dated an English fella from the Sussex area for 3 years, and they have a bit of a different sense of humor than we do over here. It took me a bit to get used to it, but they actually are all in good fun and quite a laugh. They actually mean well My best to you.
