James has won two awards at the World Music awards which were held in London this Wednesday. The 32-year-old picked up the title for the best new artist and was also named best-selling British artist. The singer-songwriter has topped charts on both sides of the Atlantic since he hit the music scene last year. His music has also been ridiculed - and the star himself voted the fourth most annoying thing in Britain. But he beat the likes of the Pussycat Dolls, KT Tunstall and Gnarls Barkley to World’s Best New Artist. |
