James has dismissed media interest in his private life as irrelevant and “unhealthy”.

Blunt has seen his love life plastered through the tabloids in recent years, but speaking in the midst of a 14-month world tour, the singer-songwriter said he continues to find media interest in his private life bizarre.

“I’ve never read tabloid magazines, but I think it’s a pretty unhealthy practice,” he told inthenews.co.uk.

“You and I are not dogs sniffing each other, I’m not interested in your private life, nor should I be, and nor should you be in mine.

James and some friends enjoyed themselves on the beach in the French Riviera, Juan-les-Pins on Thursday. James, 34, is in France to perform later today at the Juan Les Pins Jazz Festival in Antibes.

James has revealed he enjoys drinking and partying after each of his concerts.

He added: “After shows, we like to drink. At four in the morning I’ll have anything that’s going. After every show we have a party. 85 concerts every year means 85 after parties in 85 different countries!”

James Blunt has announced summer tour dates in support of his current album, All The Lost Souls. Blunt will hit the road opening for Sheryl Crow on a 25-city tour beginning July 24th in Nashville, TN.

“I am really excited to be returning to the U.S. this summer,” says Blunt. “The band and I really look forward to being on the road with such amazing artists as Sheryl Crow and Toots & the Maytals. It will be great fun!”

James Blunt was snapped in New York a few nights ago arriving at a nightclub with one woman — and leaving with another. James looked pleased with himself as he arrived with a mystery blonde and looked just as happy a few hours later when he got into a cab with a brunette in tow.

James met and shook hands with The Queen of England after his performance at the Royal Variety show earlier this month. He looks a little nervous!

James appeared at the 2007 Bambi Awards in Dusseldorf last month — he decided to keep things low key with a grungy leather jacket and faded jeans, as he walked the red carpet.

James Blunt has described how he once partied in a swimming pool in America, and found himself surrounded by nine naked models.

The singer – who has been romantically linked to supermodel Petra Nemcova, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Reese Witherspoon – was partying in the US when he found himself surrounded by a crowd of stunning, playful women.

James revealed to Live magazine: “I once found myself in a swimming pool in Los Angeles with nine naked models and I was the only guy.

“But I’d like to think any woman I have known has enjoyed being with me.”
